Simola Heights Villa is a luxurious modern house situated on the secure Simola Golf Estate overlooking the award winning Jack Nicklaus designed golf course, meandering Knysna River, natural fynbos and famous Outeniqua mountains in the distance. Situated only 10 minutes from the centre of town and only 3 or 4 minutes to the Simola Hotel, where you can enjoy the restaurant, gym, spa facilities and club house. Simola Heights offers accommodation of pure luxury and easy private living. This elegant house has taken full advantage of its spectacular views with never ending sliding doors stepping out on to the veranda stretching on to a large rim-flow pool and natural fynbos garden. It has a large kitchen-dining room area with a comfy television lounge all of which have beautiful views and large sliding doors opening out on to the pool, entertainment braai area and garden. For a quieter time there is a cosy lounge with a gas fire place for the cooler evenings. All the rooms are fitted with under-floor heating and a surround music system.
The Villa consists of four spacious full en-suite bedrooms. Bedroom one is fitted with a king size bed, dressing room and small sitting area with spectacular views form the room and private balcony. Bedroom two is fitted with a queen size bed and the most amazing indoor garden off a large bathroom and also has wonderful views from the room and balcony. Bedrooms three and four have king size beds which can be converted into twins and have beautiful fully fitted bathrooms. The rooms and balconies/decks have views either overlooking the river and mountains or the natural fynbos. This villa also has a smaller twin bedroom that can convert to a king, with an adjoining bathroom (shower only). All bedrooms are tastefully decorated in earthy colours and have a modern feel. Simola Heights is close enough to town for easy convenience but far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy incredible sunsets in total privacy and tranquility. |

Simola Heights also has complimentary use of the fantastic Simola River Club. The River Club is privately set inside the estate and a mere 3 to 4 minute beautiful drive through the natural fynbos and forest. This is a tranquil club set up on the grass and sand banks of the Knysna River. It is easily accessible using a lift down to the river where braai facilities, a boma, loungers and a club house are available for Guests use. Guests can enjoy this villa fully serviced with their own personal housekeeper, a full breakfast prepared, served and hosted each morning. This is also the perfect time for one of Kanonkop House’s knowledgeable staff members to share local knowledge on different entertainment ideas as well as what to do and see in the area, where to eat and plan all the day’s activities. If the guests prefer a more private holiday the villa can also be stocked with breakfast provisions with a daily shopping service and personal housekeeper; alternatively Simola Heights is available on a self-catering basis.

Mountain bikes: for enjoying the forests and or for cycling around town.
Speed boat: for water sports including tubing, skiing and wakeboarding. Sunset cruising and transfers to picnic or spend the day on the private beaches and coves at the Heads and Featherbed reserve.
